Brow Defining Boost
One of our favorite thing about Rodan + Fields is that their products multitask and this brow boost doubles as makeup and a serum. If you’re looking to give your brows a fuller, more defined look both in the short term and long term, the Brow Defining Boost delivers. This product combines both color and volume to create a natural, thick brow appearance, and its precise applicator makes it easy to shape and fill in sparse areas. The formula doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day. While it’s not a miracle worker for everyone with very thin brows, it’s an excellent option if you want a boost in fullness without needing to commit to brow tinting or microblading.
Verdict: Easy to use and effective, this brow boost deserves a solid 9/10.
Lash Boost Serum
This product is an absolute game-changer. Lash Boost is hands down one of the best products we’ve ever used. If you’ve ever dreamed of longer, fuller lashes without having to rely on extensions or falsies, this is the product for you. It takes a few months (3 for us) but if you use it consistently, you’ll notice dramatic lash growth. Seriously. Don’t use this if you don’t want “your lashes are so long” to be your most-heard compliment. The serum easy to apply, safe to use, and, frankly, the results are worth every penny. It’s not just hype—Lash Boost really works. That’s why we’ve used it for 6 years and never plan to stop.
Verdict: The holy grail of lash serums, this gets an astronomical 1000/10.
Volumizing Hand Cream
Unfortunately, the Volumizing Hand Cream didn’t wow us. Can anyone tell us what it really means to volumize your hands?! Because we have no idea and this product didn’t give us the answer. If you’re looking for a basic hand cream, it’ll get the job done and is a nice option, but it honestly doesn’t stand out in Rodan + Fields' otherwise strong lineup. This is definitely a product you can skip.
Verdict: A bit underwhelming—this one earns a 4/10.
Hydra Mask Gel Cream
This product is a powerhouse when it comes to hydration and skin rejuvenation. The Hydra Mask Gel Cream is deeply nourishing and leaves your skin feeling plump, refreshed, and glowing. It’s perfect for a mid-week pick-me-up or an end-of-day treat after a long day in the elements. It’s packed with moisture-boosting ingredients, and the gel-cream texture feels soothing without being heavy. If you struggle with dry or dehydrated skin, this is a must-have in your skincare routine.
Verdict: A perfect solution for dry skin—this gets a well-deserved 10/10.
Plumping Lip Oil
The Plumping Lip Oil is a solid addition to any beauty routine if you’re looking for a glossy, hydrated finish. We love that it provides sun protection (SPF 28) while delivering both moisture and color. However, the plumping effect isn’t as dramatic as some other lip enhancers - the formula really feels more like a nourishing gloss than a transformative plumper with a slight cooling feeling. That said, the shine and moisture are a huge win, so it’s a great pick for those looking for an everyday lip treatment with a little extra oomph. It comes in 4 beautiful shades that you can’t go wrong with but, if we had to choose, we’d recommend Coral for our warm tone pick and Berry for our cool tone pick.
Verdict: It may not plump your lips, but it’s still a high quality and hydrating gloss with SPF — 7/10.
Rodan + Fields offers some truly standout products, and while not every item wows us, many live up to the hype. The Lash Boost serum is undeniably the star of the lineup and we’ve used it for years. Products like the Hydra Mask Gel Cream and Brow Defining Boost have become go-to products for us as well. On the other hand, the Plumping Lip Oil is solid but the Volumizing Hand Cream didn’t deliver the results we’d hoped for. Overall, if you’re looking for skincare products that offer long-term results, Rodan + Fields has several options worth investing in.
