We Went to the Don’t Die Summit in Miami — and It Was an Experience
When we first heard about the Don’t Die Summit we were curious, but skeptical. It’s a longevity-focused event hosted by Bryan Johnson, the tech billionaire who wants to live forever and created the Blueprint protocol for longevity. Was this going to be a Silicon Valley echo chamber disguised as a wellness conference? A hyper-trendy, biohacker flex? Or something genuinely useful?
Ultimately, our curiosity won out and we couldn’t resist. Here's what went down at the Don’t Die Summit in Miami, what we learned, and whether it’s worth attending yourself.

What It Is
The Don’t Die Summit is a health and longevity event curated by Bryan Johnson and his Blueprint team. It’s part wellness conference, part futuristic science fair. The event is divided into three main parts:
Talks: A series of talks and panels from the Blueprint team. We heard from Bryan Johnson himself on topics like sleep, nutrition, and exercise
Vendors: Dozens of booths where we could try cutting-edge wellness products, sample health-forward snacks, and test your own metrics—from biological age to skin elasticity. We actually saw some of our favorite companies like iRestore who makes our favorite LED Skincare Face Mask.
Experiences: This category is a bit of a hodgepodge. Every participant can participate in a series of tests to determine their biological age. There was also an afternoon rave (which we did sort of attend) and a singalong (which we did not attend). If you opt for the VIP experience there are a few more activities you can partake in.
Here is the full schedule of talks, and the vendors were there for the entire time.
What We Did
We split our time between listening, sampling, and testing. Here’s a quick look at our summit experience:
🎤 Attended presentations on the key Blueprint pillars. Some were high-level, but if you’re not as familiar with the space, they were great for entry points into complex topics.
🥬 Tried the Blueprint food (yes, including Nutty Pudding) and found it surprisingly tasty.
🧬 Put our biological age to the test via a series of 7 tests that measured everything from grip strength to mobility. We’re happy to report that our biological ages are significantly below our actual ages!
🥜 Sampled health foods including brain-boosting coffee, honey alternatives, and “superfoods” like high quality macadamia nuts.
💬 Met other participants, which ranged from fitness enthusiasts to full-on longevity nerds. There’s quite a community of longevity enthusiasts that we had no ideas was so active!
🌬️ Sat in a hyperbaric chamber for a mini session. Not enough to feel results, but a cool experience.
📸 Got our skin scanned to identify sun damage, hydration levels, and inflammation—slightly terrifying but genuinely useful.
🤑 Got a ton of free samples. This was honestly one of our favorite benefits. From hair-thickening shampoo, to magnesium supplements, to mushroom-based matcha - we picked up so many fun finds.
Our Impressions
Let’s start with the most important question: 👉 Does Bryan Johnson look normal in person? Answer: More normal than we expected. Very polished, definitely optimized, but he didn’t seem robotic or uncanny in real life. He has a bit of an oddball personality but we were impressed with his ability to answer questions on the fly. And we were also impressed with his dancing skills that we saw at the rave, which, by the way, was as odd an experience as you’d expect.
Overall, the summit also felt more approachable than we expected. While some of the content leaned toward the high-level and futuristic, it was mostly digestible—a great intro for anyone not already deep in the health space.
And honestly? We were surprised by how much we enjoyed it. The crowd was engaged but not intimidating, the programming was informative without being preachy, and the vendor hall was fun to explore. Some things felt a little too much like marketing, but we expected that going in so didn’t find it too off-putting.
We went in unsure, and we left... interested, inspired, and way more aware of our health metrics than when we went in.
What We’re Doing Differently Now
We didn’t expect to walk away with actual habit changes, but… we actually did! To be fair, we were aware of most of this beforehand and some of these items we were just inspired to act on, but we still give credit to the summit for helping us take actions. Here are a few things that we’ve tried since the summit:
We’re testing NAD supplements. This was actually not covered in the talks, but it was repeatedly a top question from the audience, which intrigued us. We will report back on our thoughts.
We tried out the Blueprint meals for a few lunches. We were actually fairly impressed as these were super clean and used high-quality ingredients. Ultimately, we decided this is likely a little pricey for daily use. Here are a few photos:
We adjusted our skincare routine based on our scan results. More on this soon.
We bought some of the snacks we discovered there—especially those macadamia nuts, which were nutrient-dense and genuinely delicious.
In short: the summit made us curious enough to experiment. That alone felt worth the time and investment, which brings us to...
The Price
Tickets came out to $375 per person (with tax), which is pretty expensive, but included 9.5 hours worth of programming, activities, lunch and a few small extras like shots of olive oil for every participant (which is one of the things that Bryan Johnson sells).
And it’s important to know that many of the vendors charge for treatments, which we weren’t aware of beforehand! The only thing we paid for beyond the price of entry was the facial scan we did, which was either $50 add-on for the facial skin scan or the cost of one product.
Final Thoughts
So, should you attend the next Don’t Die Summit?
Yes, if:
You’re already into the health, wellness, and biohacking space.
You want to test the newest products and learn directly from the brands and researchers behind them.
You love being around people who take optimization seriously.
You’re interested in tech and emerging longevity science.
No, if:
You’re not about the price tag—the content is good, but a lot of the information can be found online.
You’re fine doing your own research on vendors and don’t need to experience them in person.
For us, the Don’t Die Summit felt like a really fun intersection of lifestyle, science, and curiosity. We left more informed, more aware of where the wellness industry is headed—and a little more excited to invest in our own health.
